About Us!

Hi, I'm Triss — founder of The Yard Co Store, and a Kingscliff local through and through. I've always been someone who'd rather get my hands dirty than sit still.

Growing up on the Northern NSW coast, I spent my childhood in the garden, on the beach, and pulling apart anything I could find just to see how it worked.

That curiosity turned into a genuine love for creating beautiful spaces — from the garden beds I've tended over the years to the multiple homes I've renovated from the ground up, mostly with my own two hands.

For a long time, I balanced that passion alongside a full-time career. But when my daughter came along, everything shifted. Holding her for the first time, I knew I wanted to build something that gave me the freedom to be present — really present — for the moments that matter most. Not watching her first steps from a desk. Not missing the small, ordinary, irreplaceable parts of her growing up.

The Yard Co Store was born from that decision. It's my way of doing what I love, on my own terms, while building something I'm genuinely proud of. Every product I've curated for this store reflects the same values I bring to my own home — quality, practicality, and a love for the outdoors and the spaces we live in.

The Yard Co Store is a trading name of Atlas Retail Group Pty Ltd (ABN 42 699 000 827).

When I'm not working on the business or chasing after my little one, you'll find me at the beach, in the garden, or around a table with the people I love most. That's the life I'm building — and The Yard Co Store is a big part of how I'm getting there.

Thanks for being here and supporting a small, local, family-run business. It genuinely means the world.
